Hello, my name is Jack. I started this blog to bring my thoughts on politics into a central spot, after years of posting about it on various social networks, getting involved through activism, and even lending my graphic design and marketing skills to causes. Some might also remember me from a certain crappy website I made about Romney in the 2012 election cycle.
What does Politicoup mean? Don’t worry, this is no coup d’etat — I’m not up to anything nefarious. “Coup” also means “an impressive victory or achievement that usually is difficult or unexpected”. In short, I felt inspired and came up with a fun name for my blog.
